ICIS Heren, a leading provider of information on gas, power and carbon markets is looking for a Deputy Editor for its weekly LNG publication, Global LNG Markets.

The successful applicant will be an energy journalist with at least three year's experience and knowledge of the LNG market. The candidate should have editing experience. The role may suit a senior reporter looking for career development in a large, global, company and a rapidly expanding sector.

The role involves writing news and longer, analytical features for the publication, as well as taking responsibility for daily market assessments in at least one region. It also involves working with the editor to develop the publication and make sure ICIS Heren stays at the forefront of this rapidly changing industry.

The Deputy is expected to assist the Editor in commissioning copy from ICIS Heren's global team of LNG specialists and ensuring the quality and timeliness of delivery. The weekly LNG Editor and Deputy also work closely with the Daily Editor to ensure resources are organised efficiently across all publications.

The successful candidate will develop specialist knowledge in all areas of the global LNG business, both short and long term, spot trade and contract. Travel to conferences and to meet contacts and customers will be expected. Media appearances and public speaking may also be required, particularly in the editor's absence.
