Teacher of Science Job in January 2011

We are urgently requiring a qualified Science teacher for a vacant post within an Academy School in West London, this is a temporary supply role on an ongoing basis with the view to a permanent opening. The role is to start as soon as possible and at the latest by April. You will be working with mixed ability students as part of a large department. The staff and students have all worked hard in the last 3-4 years to improve the quality of teaching and the ethos of the school and were rewarded with a record academic year in 2010. The school has undergone extensive refurbishment and extension including some fantastic sports and performing arts facilities.

The school have stipulated that candidates must have solid experience teaching science to GCSE as the senior leadership are determined to grow on last year's record and further improve performance in 2011. If you feel that you have the potential to grow with the department and help shape this evolving school.

To be considered for this role you must hold a full teaching qualification, have right to work in the UK and be able to commit to the role on an ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of London's up and coming schools.
