The purpose of the role will be to maximize rental income through managing accounts as well as liaising with residents to carry out benefit assessments.
Income Services Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all arrears are dealt with effectively and that court action is taken in a timely fashion. Furthermore you will visit tenants to negotiate repayment plans as well as representing the group in court by carrying out DIY possession proceedings.
In order to apply for this position, you must have previous experience of recovering large arrears as well as attending court. You should have used Northgate (or similar) software as well as having a good knowledge of housing and welfare benefits. You must be an excellent communicator and be able to deal confidently with a wide variety of internal and external contacts.
