Graduate Digital Marketing Assistant London Jobs 2011


HiddenCity is a new way to experience cities in the UK: an instant treasure hunt by text message. Can you help us by writing engaging online content and marketing our service? If so we’d love to hear from you.

This position is ideal if you are interested in a varied role in a start-up company. The position is open to graduates, and we’ll consider summer internships.
  • Flexible working location with occasional meetings in central London.
  • £80 per day (£60/day for internships)

Your responsibilities will include:
  • PR: Working with press, magazines and event companies to promote HiddenCity.
  • Marketing: Writing online content for our website and social media sites, developing intelligent email campaigns and tracking metrics to identify the performance of campaigns
  • Sales: Managing sales enquiries from corporate customers

If you’re the right person you’ll have a combination of academic qualifications, personal attributes and skills (both creative and analytical):

Academic qualifications
- You have (or are expecting to achieve) a 2:1 degree or higher in a creative or business subject (eg Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English)


Personal attributes
  • You are fun and enthusiastic
  • You are keen to get involved with a start-up company
  • You are exceptionally proactive
  • You are ambitious
  • You like clear goals and targets
  • You would be happy to help out with other areas in the company, like helping us test new treasure hunts and hosting events


Skills
- You can write creatively and in a conversational and informal tone (your response to this ad should exemplify this!)
- You are both creative and analytical
- You have an analytical mind
- You have a fantastic telephone manner


You’ll be able to conduct the majority of your work where ever you have access to a computer. You should have easy access to central London for team meetings.

Selection will be in two stages:
  • Stage 1: A 30 min telephone interview
  • Stage 2: A 1 hour face-to-face meeting in central London.
