Financial Services Administrator – Field Based Regional Role – London & M25 Area

Ideally based around the Hertforshire area you will be required to work on a rota basis between the London, Herts and Essex offices with an office base when cover isn’t required.

Supporting the admin teams in each office you will be responsible for delivering a top support service in new business processing a large portfolio of pension, investment and protection for a high net worth client base, both private and corporate. In addition to the business processing you will be required to cover the office secretary/reception areas when required, therefore, a flexible approach and excellent admin skills are required.

Supporting the client facing fee earners, you will be responsible for managing the workflow of all applications for a range of products in an accurate and timely manner, publishing figures and statistics based on your workflow and status of client work. You will be the key part of the business to ensure there is a consistent level of service when you are covering for people who are out of the office, filling their shoes and being a key asset who can be called on to slot into each of the offices in your region when required.

As a person you will be highly organised, process orientated, helpful, reliable and enjoy the variety that this role brings – offering constant flexibility to ensure that your offices receive a consistently high level of support.

Suitable candidates must have a minimum of 3 years financial services experience supporting within an IFA or Provider covering a selection of products which need to include pensions and investments. You will also have admin/secretarial skills where you have supported a team in their secretarial requirements.

As a person you will have a professional, thorough approach with exquisite attention to detail and immaculate self presentation. You will have strong rapport building skills with the confidence and diplomacy to support senior team members and not being afraid of chasing deadlines and saying no! As you will come from a financial services background, you will have a good understanding of how a variety of products are processed and the legal requirements therein.

The salary is between £25.5k-£26k per year, along with this you will have access to a generous 10% pension scheme from day one, Bupa for you, partner and any children, free parking in the non-London offices, critical illness cover, life assurance and a clothing allowance of £350 a year. You will be required to have your own car and will be paid business mileage.

This role will offer variety and a demanding workload to an efficient, professional administrator who relishes the variety and pace that a field based role will offer.All travel will happen in the working week and will not eat into weekends.
