The ideal candidate MUST speak PERFECT ENGLISH, will have a minimum of one year experience in a fine-dining restaurant environment and be committed and interested in developing her knowledge of the food and drink industry in all its facets.

In return, The Penny Black will invest time and resources in training all its employees in every area of restaurant operation, wine and spirit knowledge, bar training and kitchen training. The team at The Penny Black is a very small hand-picked unit that works exceptionally well together and a successful candidate will be able to integrate herself easily into a thriving work environment.
The position is for full-time employment with an immediate start. Part-time students need not apply at this moment in time.
In the first instance, every applicant must write a covering letter and submit an up-to-date CV. Interviews will take place soon after application if it is successful at the first stage.
