You'll be working on WordPress and RESTful projects for clients in a Social Enterprise -- volunteer with substantial equity participation.
You've probably got a degree in a technical subject and showing us that you've got solid experience is very important in securing an interview.
Having already launched some exciting projects, this fast growing, social enterprise are small now but they have big plans! This is a great opportunity to get involved at an early stage and put your stamp on the agency as it grows.
With a focus on innovation and the latest technologies there are plenty of exciting projects to work on across all major platforms including web, iPhone/iPad and Android.
The majority of your work will span front-end development with server-side programming in PHP, however this is a more rounded role where the right person will need take a wider interest in development and business matters. You’ll be involved in projects from the very beginning and will play a significant role in architecting the solution and developing the end product. Writing high quality code is a given, but you must also demonstrate a passion for technology and strive to constantly learn and improve your skills.
To qualify... We are seeking a solid Web Developer / Front End Developer with skills in the following:
• PHP framework experience (Zend, CakePHP, Symfony etc.) desired.
• Experience with Facebook, Google Maps and/or Twitter API desired.
• Familiarity with other programming languages (C# .NET, Java, Objective C, ActionScript etc.) is a major plus!
• Excellent HTML/CSS skills (including understanding of accessibility and SEO).
• PHP4/5.
• MySQL.
• Javascript/JQuery/AJAX.
• CMS experience (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla etc.).
