We are recruiting for a Support Engineer who will be responsible for providing 1st/2nd line support to our clients. Ideally this is an opportunity for a MCP, MCSE, MCSA or CCNA certified IT support professional to develop their career with an innovative and exciting company.

Additionally we are looking for engineers with Apple Mac skills to responsible for technical incident management, first and second line desktop and server support. You will need a good understanding of networking principles of Macintosh. Supporting certifications in these areas is also favourable including Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP/ACTC/ACSA).


Skills and experience:
  • Technical incident management.
  • First-line IT support and remote access. Remote monitoring of business-critical products and service levels utilising our bespoke applications.
  • PC and server configuration.
  • Firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proactive server monitoring and reporting.
  • System checks.
  • Back up monitoring and reporting.
  • Mac OS

You must have:
  • Experience with Citrix remote access/XenApp.
  • Excellent knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows XP, Vista & 7).
  • Good Microsoft Office applications knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • MCP\MCSA\MCSE\MCITP\CCNA\JNCIA at least one of these certifications.
  • 12 to 18 months direct applied work experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010, Active Directory, Group Policies, RRAS, DNS, Terminal Services and DHCP.



You ideally have:
  • Knowledge of other vendors including Cisco, Juniper, VMWare, Checkpoint and Symantec is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Mac, Lotus Notes and Unix environments are a bonus.
  • Good written communications.
  • Experience VOIP systems such as Cisco Call Manager or Avaya.
  • Experience with using and configuring mail on Blackberry/PDAs.
  • Experience of diagnosing Mac hardware and software issues, or have a good understanding of Mac hardware and software.

  • Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
  • Confident and have a professional telephone manner engaging with our clients, 3rd Party suppliers, other engineers as well as management.
  • Able to prioritise tasks whilst maintaining a clear customer focused approach
  • Reliable and willing to solve client demands.
