Key responsibilities of the post holder;
- Provide support to the HR Business Partner
- Assisting and supporting with departmental/organisational restructures as required
- Follow-up on payroll queries as required
- Provide interview support
- Assist HR Business Partner in work winning process - Provide support at open days, supporting in the production of bid documentation
- Provide wider support to other HR shared service as and when required. This will include work based on other sites and projects
- Strong competent ER background to provide support, guidance and attendance at Disciplinary and Grievance procedures
- Knowledge and experience of CRB processing, issues and Right to Work requirements
- Collating and compiling HR Reports and Employee Metrics
- Training, coaching and providing support to Line Managers on people management issues
- Supporting managers with OH follow-up and long term absence issues
- Supporting managers with employee performance issues
- Staff consultations, for example TUPE/reorganisation
- Liaison with local and regional union representatives as required

- Full CIPD qualification is highly desirable
- Current CRB
- Strong interest in ER - background / experience / knowledge of managing disciplinary and grievances issues supporting both staff and management
- Knowledge and experience of dealing of CRB processing, issues and right to work requirements
