THE ROLE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Allocator to join the Menswear Merchandising team at House of Fraser. Reporting to an Assistant Merchandiser you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up sale buys, markdowns, promotions and price menu cards.
- Tracking order statuses and delivery schedules.
- Supporting the Assistant Merchandiser in dealing with delivery/merchandise problems.
- Reviewing and maintaining stock profiles.
- Allocating stock and communicating with stores.
- Updating stock systems.
- Managing stock levels, promotions and managing discontinued lines.
- Dealing with sales, returned stock, transfers and recalls.
REQUIREMENTS
- You will be educated to a degree level or equivalent preferable within a business/numeric related ubject.
- Excellent commercial awareness and understanding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to plan and organise your workload.
- Excellent IT skills including Excel.
- A genuine interest in Merchandising and willingness to learn and excel in the field.
