The role
  • The role will require you to make 10 face to face appointments per week and the territory you cover will include London and some parts of the South East. This is a mixture of account management and new business as the successful candidate will be expected to grow revenues for their territory.

You will be responsible for new and existing accounts and you will be selling them subscriptions to EGi.

Background required:
  • The ability to manage a pipeline of your own prospects, prioritising the hottest prospects and following up on proposals already out in the market
  • The ability to work well with telesales colleagues to ensure the territory is managed effectively, whether over the phone or face to face
  • An ability to gather an effective understanding of EGi's propositions and the marketplace it serves
  • Demonstrable field sales experience, ideally in business to business online information sales
  • A good understanding of the sales process from start to finish, in particular the benefits of using fact-finding, unsettling and open/closed questions to identify sales opportunities.
  • High-levels of enthusiasm, motivation and passion for winning


You will need a driving licence. The EGi London sales office is based in Procter Street, Holborn, Central London but some of your meetings will require you to drive to the home counties.
