Sales Account Manager Description:
- The Account Manager role is to primarily grow revenues of the Scientific, Technical, Medical and Socially (STMS) division of John Wiley & Sons, with sales of online products to institutional customers
- The role will require the successful candidate to negotiate with customers, agreeing multi-year access licenses for a range of content types available via Wiley Online Library
The role will include:
- Regular contact, including face to face meetings, with all key clients in the territory
- Working with the Sales Support department to prepare, amend and finalise journal price quotes
- Liaising with the Library Marketing team to plan appropriate marketing activities for the territory
- Attend library and industry conferences
- Write and maintain an annual territory plan.
Sales Account Manager Selection criteria:
- Experience of MS Office applications
- Good level of numeracy essential,
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Educated to a high standard
- Fluent in Dutch, with a good standard of English. French would be an advantage
- Previous sales experience is a must
- Knowledge of sales theory and practice
- Experience of publishing or online content would be an advantage
