Our client seeks 3 .Net developers. You will join a very large development team working on the latest Microsoft technologies such as .Net 4.0
Purpose of job:
- To act as lead developer on complex system integration projects and provide knowledge and guidance to other members of the software development team.
- To analyse requirements and design, develop, enhance, test and implement applications to facilitate the running of the daily business and to distribute information within the departments.
- To provide 3rd line support and maintenance for systems developed in-house and to liaise with software suppliers throughout application lifecycle.
Skills/experience
Essential:
- Ability to work effectively within a development team by using tools such as source control, documentation and bug tracking.
- Agile development approach experience
- Experience of entire SDLC, delivering functionality on time and to budget - delivery focussed
- Proficient in the use of BizTalk
- Proficient in C# and .NET framework
- Proficient in SQL server 2008.
- Knowledge of XML, XSL and XSD.
- Knowledge of network communications including HTTP/ReST and web services
Desirable
3. Technical team leading / supervision experience
4. Experience of ORM tools such as Linq or nHibernate
5. Positive, structured approach to solving problems
1. Proficient in test driven development / unit testing
2. Ability to work in a flexible manner - building prototypes rapidly and evolving these into scalable, production quality systems.
