London Jobs 2011 Hotel Receptionist
We are currently looking for a new addition to our front of house staff.
The Reception is the centre point of the Hotel, and your administrative skills are very important. The front of house tasks include, checking in and checking out guests, taking and recording payment, constantly reviewing bookings and reservations, attending to guests requests, and taking bookings and enquires with an excellent telephone manner.
The receptionist has a key role in the running of the hotel. You will be the first person who greets the guest on arrival at the hotel so a good first impression and a polite and friendly manner are essential. You must have the ability to build an instant rapport with guests, being professional yet personable. We are looking for a person who can keep calm and multi task with a cool head when dealing with guests at busy times, either on the phone or in person. You would be required to be highly organised, confident and possess proficient computer skills.
We pride ourselves on our high standards of customer service and the "can do" attitude of our team of staff. We are looking for a person who would work well in that team and is enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking with a down to earth & genuinely friendly personality. A smart and well groomed appearance is very important.
The full time position covers 4-5 days per week, including weekends, and all staff receive 4 weeks plus 8 days holidays per year.
