Part-Time Book Keeper Jobs in London 2011
We are a growing business psychology consultancy based in Hammersmith. Over the past 5 years we have developed our client list and now work with some of the world’s most successful blue-chip companies. In the last 12 months the size we have doubled in size and have established ourselves as a credible new entrant to the market. Because of this growth we now wish to hire a book-keeper to join the team and help us go further.
The book-keeper will be responsible for all basic accounting including logging receipts, invoicing, answering client queries, banking and VAT. We use Quick Books and have attempted to streamline processes as much as possible. As the company develops we would see the book-keeper performing additional tasks such as providing management information, assisting with client-facing projects, working on marketing activities, and deputising for the office manager. Initially the role will require 8 hours a week; the aim is that this will grow.
Applicants must have previous relevant experience in either book-keeping or office admin role (knowledge of QuickBooks is a distinct advantage). You will be numerate with good PC skills and able to use MS office efficiently. It is vital that you are reliable and dependable and able to manage yourself as well as work as part of a small team. Key to our decision will be the additional attributes you bring; either from a general admin, finance or marketing perspective.
Rate £10 - £ 15 per hour depending on experience.
