Salary Scale: up to 12ph depending on experience
Contract type: short term: we have work at events from June through to September, with the opportunity to work full time.
Overall purpose of job:
We're looking for a competent, enthusiastic and creative cook to work on site at one of the UK's most prestigious events starting from 1st July (latest).
You will be in charge of a small menu with a healthy variety of breakfast and lunch dishes. You will be expected to use ingredients creatively, to hit food GP targets, prep & cook and also help serving customers during quieter periods.
The successful applicant will have a warm and friendly personality, able to communicate well with staff and customers and be an all-rounder.
This position would suit a candidate, who is a competent chef with an interest in learning about the business aspect of running a food operation.
Key skills required:
- Food Hygiene Level 3 certificate (training provided)
- Able to maintain good control and stock management
- Able to assist in set up, service & break down of mobile kitchen unit & equipment
- Adhere to company standards of food preparation and Food Hygiene
- experience cook/chef

- excellent organisation skills: able to ensure all food is correctly
- stored, prepared, and served
- Able to work under supervision and on own initiative
