Systems Accountant London Jobs 2011
This role is for a Qualified Accountant with excellent IT and change management skills. This “hybrid” role will act as conduit between all finance teams and IT and also be key in making efficiencies across all finance work flows and IT systems. This media company seek to bring harmonisation to their many accounts systems, platforms and methodologies. This role will be central and west London based across 4 or 5 London locations.
You must be a qualified accountant with excellent technical accounting skills, who has been involved with systems implementations or upgrades. You must have acted within or part of a hybrid role before and have the gravitas to deal with the board and different finance and IT teams. This role is very much project based, but also will be pulled into help with Group finance, perhaps with budgets, forecasts and consolidations. The company currently operates in vertical silos, so need this person to merge commonality e.g. centralise 6 AP teams as well as push all of London into SAP and make sure financial controls are tight.
First audit the businesses and it’s work flows & systems, you will then plan, review and recommend improvements to group, before starting the project. SAP and Media are useful to have but not essential.
