Tableau Vivant and it is based on the 19th Century activity of using live performers to portray a painting or other scene. Our tableau is deconstructed and plays in a series of acts alongside each of the 3 courses of the meal.
Each event seats around 30-40 people per night.
Our last dinner was based on the image of Saint Sebastian by renaissance painter Guido Reni mixed with Portuguese folklore. The menu was experimental, Contemporary, but with a Renascence twist.
The role will pay £100-120 per night (depending on your experience) and we need someone who can work to a strict budget but make food that is impressive and interesting.
We will expect from you to prepare menu plan, source the ingredients and then provide a three-course dinner.
Tableau Vivant is a great opportunity to promote the work of a Chef, being featured and publicized during the promotion of the Tableau Vivant.
The event will be running every second saturday (fortnightly) of the month for an exclusive arty clientele.
