The Role

Your key responsibility as an Account Executive will be to consult with our pre-existing partners to proactively manage their portfolio with Groupon and up sell them on new and exciting features. This role will require you to increase feature partners and to reach and exceed company targets, through a consultative approach to client management and sales, you will understand your clients business in order to construct a mutually beneficial offer to our subscribers to increase their customer base. You will become a vital part of your clients marketing and business plans through this innovative and fast paced role. All Account Executives will earn a competitive basic salary plus uncapped commissions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Present Groupon as the unique opportunity for businesses to acquire new customers
  • Achieve revenue and profit targets through Consultative Sales
  • Proactively seek out new opportunities
  • To build and maintain a portfolio of partners
  • Work closely with our business consultants to understand the needs of our business partners and manage client expectations
  • Upsell new products and features to our existing partners

Your Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills
  • Network of contacts in the relevant sector is a definite bonus
  • Bachelor degree is desirable
  • Positive attitude, consultative approach and self-motivation are all essential
  • Minimum of 1 years sales or account management experience
  • Bachelor degree is desirable, Master’s degree preferable
  • Experience in pioneering new business coupled with evidence of consistent and current success
