Who are we?
An online retail company specialising in pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding products. Privately owned, the company has been growing steadily over the past 7 years offering specialist advice as well as excellent products within the baby marketplace. We work closely with the NHS as well as the ante-natal marketplace and are now focussing on new growth - and with that are looking for someone exceptional to join our small but very dynamic team.

What will your job be?
Based in London N18, the role will be predominantly marketing and customer focussed, with duties consisting of (but not exclusively):
  • Customer support via email and telephone, offering advice and product help to our customers in an efficient, courteous & friendly manner.
  • Assist the Directors with marketing activities like: catalogue production, developing an e-newsletter and promoting the company’s social media platform. (Previous experience or knowledge in this field will be a clear advantage, but not essential)
  • Website management; adding new products, managing images and writing up product descriptions.
  • You will also be expected to help the warehouse manager on busy days; whether it be picking and packing our orders, unpacking goods, placing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.

Who are you and your skills?
Candidates should be conscientious, hard working & creative, with good attention to detail, great time management skills and the ability to work quickly to achieve tight deadlines. You should display good interpersonal skills and be an outgoing, positive and well spoken person with a “can-do” attitude. Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills is absolutely essential (Maybe with some editorial/writing background?). You are able to think ''on your feet'' and work hard and fast without too much supervision.

Previous customer service experience is not a requirement, but may be advantageous as is experience with dealing with difficult customers. Computer literacy (internet, excel, word, good typing skills) is essential. Knowledge or experience of online marketing and social media as well as Photoshop is an advantage too.
Good references are essential.

  • Location: Edmonton, North London
  • Salary: £14500 – £17000 depending on skills and experience.
  • Full time: 8:30 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday).
  • Car parking available.
