Desirable Skills:
- Networking : LAN/WAN, Router, TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting
- Operating systems : Windows NT/2000/XP, Windows 2003/Windows 2008,
- Web servers : Apache, IIS
- RDBMS : MySql, Sql Server (installation, backups & restoring)
- System admin : 2008 and Linux with NFS, samba, DNS,
- firewall, FTP,mail server, users, groups, disk capacity, quota creation
- Others : Firewall Management (WatchGuard) and mobile VPN Management.
- Very computer literate & highly proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office

Job Role
- Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance on Windows server and clients.
- Responsible for computers, network infrastructure, server maintenance and development.
- Updating latest software packages and installing service packs.
- Create required reports in response to business user needs.
- Firewall management.(VPN, VLAN’s, Log Server, Report Server etc)
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases.
- Managing sql database.
- Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, multiple databases, and during data transfer in accordance to business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage printers and scanners.
- Perform and test routine system backups and restores.
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Support application development
- Analyze system, server, application, network, and input/output device performance.
- Participate in negotiations with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure software products and services.
- Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
- Preparing excel spreadsheets, reports in word &powerpoint presentations, building databases
- Preparing & sending out reports
- Looking after company websites, & managing content of these
