The post will suit someone with strong behaviour management as well as someone who has a natural ability to engage with young people.

You must be highly organised and will be expected to commit yourself enthusiastically to any activities which involve the various departments beyond the normal school timetable. The school likes proactive people and are happy to consider overseas trained people as long as you have at least 6 months previous recent experience in a similar role managing a classroom.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising work that has been set
- Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment;
- Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures;
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures;
- Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher

- Have a minimum of 6 months experience with in a secondary school classroom.
- Proven classroom management skills.
- A Degree
- Good communication and organisation skills
