- The preparation and replacement of living hair transplant grafts within a minor surgical theatre setting.
- The assisting of the hair transplant surgeon to remove the patient's donor hair.
- Assisting with day to day running of the clinic - cleaning, patient care, minor paperwork etc.
- Assisting with Botox/filler injections.
Hair transplantation is a minor surgical procedure which is becoming ever more popular, especially with a number of celebrities recently admitting to having this treatment.
Good personal hygiene, ability to obey instructions from medical staff, and confidentiality are therefore essential.
The job requires excellent hand eye coordination and close work (very much like threading the eye of a needle with a cotton thread, 500 times!). You must be a quick but careful, methodical person, preferably with the ability to talk to and relax potentially nervous patients.
No specific qualifications are required but many assistants have been beauticians previously. A CV and references, CRB check and confirmation of up to date vaccinations will be required. Due to the high number of responses, preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate previous previous close, intricate or magnified work - jewellers, watch repairs or clinical experience. We will contact suitable candidates for the short list of interviews.
Full training will be given and successful candidates can expect to earn £75 per day (more if particular skill is shown). Working hours are usually 9 -6, Monday to Friday but there is also potential for extra weekend overtime. We are relaxed employers but do demand that our employees are extremely methodical, including quality control checks, to ensure our high standards and reputation stays intact.
